That’s a Wrap, Summer Camp – 2025!
SRM Summer Camp was great fun, twice! Thanks for spending some time with the museum. We featured Savannah & Atlanta steam locomotive 750, Presidential Pullman Superb, the Campbell Limestone Heisler, our yellow GE 50 Tonner SRM 3, the 4-4-0 General II locomotive, a caboose, and our famous Duluth, Southern and Coastline Park Train, and your growing railfans. They are the ones that made camps worth while.
Before you know it, we’ll be planning for Summer Camp – 2026 for children 5-12 years old. Campers will take train rides and a tour of our restoration and repair shop at the museum – something not everyone gets to see, and much more! They will learn what the museum shop crew is working on and heard from our guest speaker about train safety.
Plan to register early as space fills up quickly! Camp fees include a camp T-shirt and a daily snack.
See you soon!
