Consider your Holiday lunch or evening reception at the Southeastern Railway Museum. Our space provides a wonderful and interactive experience pre-decorated thanks to the Festival of Trees. For more information: party@train-museum.com — before the train leaves the station.
We are pleased to offer rental spaces for all your special occasion needs.
Weddings: Celebrate your special day with friends and family by saying your “I do’s” on one of our wonderful spaces.
Birthdays: Create an unforgettable experience for your child’s (or adult’s) birthday.
Meetings: Our unique spaces are sure to inspire creativity and team building.
Breakfasts, Lunches, Dinners: Our warming kitchen and exhibit hall can handle up to 50 seated guests.
We have a variety of spaces and pricing options to offer you ranging from gazebos and picnic areas, to our exhibit hall, the theater, the education annex, and Building 1.
Small Event/Party Rental Information
Outdoor Event Areas include:
- 3-table Picnic area under a roof with partial sides
- An open-air 3 table area
- Two 4-table areas under the Bldg. 2 roof & 2 gazebos. Comfortable maximum is roughly 20. Reservations are encouraged.
Indoor event areas include our Education Center and/or our Theater. Maximum is roughly 40.
Information on the Exhibit Hall and rental of Building 1 including the Exhibit Hall is available on request.
Event Host Responsible (indoor or out) – Provides All Food, Tablecloths, Decorations, Paper Goods, Cups, Plastic Ware, etc., and is responsible for set up and clean up.
Rental Spaces
Thursday – Saturday – 10:00a to 1:00p or 1:30p to 4:30p (custom time on request).
Sunday 1:00p to 4:00p
Rental Fee – Indoor:
- $50 staffing/ticketing/reservations fee
- $440.00 for the first 20 people (includes everyone age 2 or older)
- Includes 40 Train Ride Tickets. Can ride both the Historic and Park trains.
- $18.00 per additional guest which Includes 2 Train Ride Tickets (saves 4 dollars)
- $100 per additional hour
Rental Fee — Outdoor
- $40 Staffing/ticketing/reservations fee.
- 10 Admissions $220 – 2 train rides per guest
20 admissions $380 – 2 train rides per guest
Additional hour: $75.00 - Under Age 2: Free
Reservations: $50.00 Non-Refundable on-line deposit due 4 weeks prior to available date.
SRM has a Park Train and Full-Size Trains appropriate for adults & children.
Train Ride Times are posted at the Ticket Office.
Birthday Party Attendees – are welcome to visit the museum all day of the event.
- Children Can Not be Dropped off at the museum without a responsible adult.
- Children must have always at least one parent or related adult onsite with them.
- Each Parent / Adult is responsible for their children’s safety – while visiting
2 Days before the event – the Host provides a list of attendees (first and last name) which the ticket office will use to issue train tickets.
