Here Come’s Southeastern Rwy Museum’s Summer Camp – 2026!
SRM Summer Camp is always great fun, twice! Join us at the Southeastern Railway Museum for our Classic Trains Summer Camp, running June 15-19 from 9AM – 1PM. Designed for kids ages 5-12, this fun-filled week brings history to life with five legendary trains:
The mighty Union Pacific Big Boy,
The sleek Pioneer Zephyr,
The luxurious 20th Century Limited,
The iconic Southern Railway 6901,
Th world-famous Flying Scotsman.
Campers will enjoy railroad adventures, hands-on crafts, engaging lessons, games, and more – plus the chance to explore the museum up close! Did we mention train rides?
There’s no excuse for your child’s summer blues. Fuel their curiosityand let their imagination ride the rails. Save with early registration good through May 3! Space is limited and fills up quickly! Camp fees include a camp T-shirt and a daily snack.

General Guided Tour Information
The Southeastern Railway Museum offers a wide variety of opportunities for educational field trips and tours, both guided and self-guided, for all ages. All guided tours include a ride aboard a historic train car (depending on weather or other conditions outside the museum’s control – rain checks are available). Education Programs
- Group Programs: Guided tours are available for senior groups, special interest groups, and other preformed groups.
- Field Trips: The Southeastern Railway Museum offers field trip programs for schools, daycare groups, and homeschool groups, catered to your specific age group.
- Second Thursday Pre-School Program: Our monthly pre-school program, Second Thursday, features crafts, activities, games, story time, and a vehicle of the month. Tickets should be purchased in advance.
