Presenting the first ever typewriter event at the Southeastern Railway Museum!
Typewriter lovers and the general public are welcome! The event will be co-hosted by members of the Antique Typewriter Club. Typing will be indoors, out of the cold.
We’ll have vintage machines for visitors to use, or you can bring your own typewriter! Paper will be supplied. It’s the perfect time to type up your Valentine’s Day cards, letters, or just have fun. Or, for the rail enthusiast, type your own train orders!
We’ll also have typing contests throughout the day. See how fast you can type!
Have an old manual typewriter that needs a tune up? Need to learn how to maintain your typewriter? Looking to buy, sell, or trade? Typewriter enthusiasts and collectors will be on hand to help you out!
All typing is included in admission. Train rides sold separately.
Adults: $10
Seniors: $8
Children: $7
If you agree that typewriters are following vinyl records out of the grave, we hope to see you there!
