Southern Rwy E-8A 6901 returns to public viewing Saturday, May 2. Our volunteers put over 1,000 hours into the project, partially funded by Norfolk Southern, the Pace Family Foundation, and our Fast Track to the Future Fund.
We’re hosting Landmark Series SD70IACS “Atlanta” from Norfolk Southern, fresh off their executive train side-by-side with 6901.
Plus we’re offering unlimited rides all weekend, and Cassie’s Catering.
Unfortunately, we cancelled the art fair and thank those who joined us on May 2.
6901 will return to our shop for a little more work on the cab’s interior so join us today, 3595 Buford Hwy in Duluth, to celebrate 6901’s 75th anniversary, the work of our volunteers, a little bit of history, and art either on canvas, board, or a locomotive.
