Southeastern Railway Museum Hosting Steak Cook-Off on June 20

The Southeastern Railway Museum will host a Steak Cook-Off Association (SCA) sanctioned cook-off on June 20.

June 3, 2020 Update: In order to maintain event size restrictions related to the COVID19/Coronavirus pandemic, this event will be a private event. We appreciate everyone understanding and are working to add new public days to the schedule.

Teams participating in the event will start setting up at 8 a.m.

The first portion of the day’s judging is at 12 p.m. when teams turn in their Bloody Marys. The appetizer turn-in follows at 1 p.m., and the steak turn-in is set for 2 p.m.

Judges will announce the winners at 4 p.m.

Museum attendees can enjoy live music, and the museum will be selling BBQ sandwiches. 3 Taxi Guys is sponsoring the BBQ lunch, and proceeds from the sales will benefit the museum.

Stock Yards Prime Steaks & Meats is sponsoring the steaks for the competition.
