Typewriter enthusiasts return to Duluth’s Southeastern Railway Museum

Typewriter enthusiasts from across the region will descend on the Southeastern Railway Museum this February.

Members of the Antique Typewriter Club are co-hosting their annual meet-up at 10 a.m. on Feb. 2 at the museum in Duluth. The club will be displaying typewriters used throughout history.

The event is open to the public with paid admission. Attendees are encouraged to bring their typewriters, and typewriter enthusiasts will be on hand all day to help repair typewriters.

Museum admission is $10 for adults, $8 for seniors 65 and older and $7 for children between the ages of two and 12 years old. Rides on the museum’s historic train are $3 person; a combo ticket (including a ride on the historic train and the park train) is available for $5.
